Whether you are new to exercise or a fitness guru, the staff at Fitness First can help you design a program that's right for you. Our famous "Mush-to-Muscle" program is great for both novice and experienced members, and no matter what program you choose, we'll get you started and help you stay on track.



Beginner's Programs
Fitness First offers a free 6-week beginner's program to our members that provides instruction on the various components of an effective exercise routine. You will work with a fitness professional to learn the use of machines to increase your cardiovascular health, train on resistance equipment to improve muscular strength, and discover techniques designed to enhance flexibility and posture. Free Classes
Our qualified class instructors can help provide the motivation needed to reach your goals!  With high-energy classes like step, body sculpting, cardio-boxing, aerobics, hip-hop  and salsa aerobics, as well as specialized  classes like Yoga, T'ai Chi, Tae Kwon-Do,  and a Pilates-based stretch class, the  Fitness First class schedule has something  for everyone.  And it's never boring!


Personal Training
For some, the basic instruction of our beginner's program and the motivation that can be found in our extensive class list is just not enough. Whether it's a need for more specialized instruction, one-on-one motivation, or the accountability that comes from knowing that a professional is following your program with you, The Personal Training Program may be just what you are looking for. Flexibility that allows you  and your trainer to tailor workouts and nutrition programs to meet your needs, ongoing supervision to prevent "drop-out", and a constantly changing challenge to keep you from getting bored. It's the perfect prescription for reaching your goal!


Accountability
Not sure you need constant supervision, but you still want to incorporate some kind of accountability into your exercise program? We are now offering low cost "home-work programs" that can be tailored to your workout. This can be set up with daily, weekly, or monthly goals; your coach will provide you with worksheets to be completed, and keep tabs on your progress. Springtime Open House
Every April, Fitness First hosts a fun-filled weekend that includes free massages, body fat and blood pressure testing, cooking demonstrations, free classes and much more. Watch out for details!
